If you are getting a pedicure, try not to shave your legs 24 hours prior to the service. They perform their services based on what they can see and what you tell them. These professionals are not allowed to ask about your health information. If you have a health history that may trigger a reaction or other problems, be sure to let the Snappy Nails & Spa Salon nail technician or cosmetologist know. If you find their license, you can then be able to view any disciplinary records, allowing you to make an informed choice about the person or business providing you service. You can lookup a cosmetology license online by visiting the Colorado Board of Cosmetology license verification page. Before Visiting This Salonīefore you visit Snappy Nails & Spa, we highly suggest that you verify the business or persons license. When speaking with them, inform the manicurist what you want and ask what it will cost before having the manicure completed. Most manicuring services are offered "a la carte" (i.e., application of nail strengthener or moisturizer may be an additional charge over the price of the basic manicure). If you prefer, you can check for "a la carte" pricing. When you call them, you can ask if they offer any additional services and ask for their current prices. If you are planning to visit this establishment, we first suggest that you call them, using the salon phone number listed below, to verify if they accept walk-ins or require an appointment so you can schedule a visit, if required. I'll keep coming back to make appointments with her and hopefully the next time I get a redemption on the pedicure! Definitely recommend but beware this place is very popular so try to book on off hours if you can.You are viewing the details for the salon, Snappy Nails & Spa, located in Denver Colorado. She was fun, pleasant and talkative which I don't normally care for but she was so funny and communicative I couldn't help but chat with her. She was amazing and gave me exactly what I asked for without any pain, didn't miss a spot on my nails and didn't massacre my cuticles. Though she seemed like she was was rushing, she's a pro. Then we got to my nails (dip) and I was not expecting much after that lackluster pedi. Got a pedicure for $50 and the tech was lazy and tired which I get but I won't get one on a Sunday again and I'll try to go earlier for a more robust pedi so the cost is worth it. Had to wait 30 minutes before I could get a seat. Made an appointment on a Sunday for my first ever visit, which was the only time I could go and it was slammed. She truly cares about her business and I was very impressed. She re-did my nails beautifully, they have LASTED 4 weeks, and I will be going to her from now on. She was so kind and helpful and wanted to make this right. Update: The owner, Maria, reached out to me and personally took the time to re-do my nails for me. My pedicure was great - hence the 2 stars, but I will not get a mani here again. I am now looking at these - nails that were cut down after I asked very specifically for them not to be (to which Lynh said ok sure, then took clippers and chopped them - I wanted to cry), every one of the bottoms of the gel is peeling up, a couple are chipped at the top, and my cuticles are a MESS and peeling so bad (I didn't have this issue before I got these done). I don't get my nails done often, but when I do, I ask for gel, to keep my length, and a rounded almond shape. I am not one to review places, and even though I was upset when these were done, I didn't think to write a review, but I am now looking at week-old nails (done on Sunday May 1st with Lynh) that just make me so sad.
